While the mythical character of the Griffin gives this brand its name, the effort which gives the cigars their high quality is very real. The filler includes three different Cibao Valley tobaccos combined with a Dominican binder and Connecticut wrapper to give it a mildly spicy, flavorful taste. The Griffin's brand is manufactured by Davidoff of Geneva.
