How To Cut A Cigar
CUTTING A CIGAR

Cutting a cigar is very easy and with these simple instructions you will have no problem doing it.

The first step is to buy a proper cigar cutter. There are a variety of styles to choose from which include a standard blade cutter, a bullet punch cutter or cigar scissor cutters.

Prior To Cutting Your Cigar:
Always examine your cigar before cutting it to locate where the top of the cigar has been wrapped to seal it. You will want to cut the cigar right above where this sealer wrapper ends to prevent the cigar from coming apart while smoking.

Cutting A Cigar Using A Blade Cutter Or Cigar Scissors:
Hold the cigar firmly in our hand and make one smooth swift cut to get a clean cut.

Cutting A Cigar Using A Bullet Punch Cutter:
If using a blade intimdates you or you want a convient way to carry a cigar cutter, we recommend using a bullet punch. Simply take the bullet punch and push it against the tip of the cigar making a hole. Depending on the amount of smoke you want, you may need to insert the punch cutter a few more times.

Quick Tip Using A Standard Cigar Cutter:
To get a perfect cut, place your cigar cutter on a table flat. With the cutter resting on the table, place the end of the cigar into the blade opening. Without lifting the cutter make your cut. You should have a perfectly cut cigar.
